Kaiser Permanente, Portland, Oregon 2001 to present

Lead Programmer/Analyst

Develop and support MyHR, a J2EE web application. (MyHr allows employees personalized access to HR & payroll services and secure self-service transactions.) Performed overhaul of the visual design to make it compliant with new corporate look & feel.

Provide User Interface Design, development, and support for 2006 Attendance Program, a Struts application that allows employees to cash-out unused sick leave. Consult with business partners on IT perspectives and effective design alternatives.

Technical Lead for Kaiser’s e-Procurement solution that integrates Ariba Buyer with numerous legacy systems to standardize the purchasing process using Java, Java Script, XNT, XML, and AML. Responsible for the planning, estimating, scoping, release coordination, and enhancements to the eProcurement system.

Point of Contact for the Business Partner, Testing and Business Teams. Coordinated the entire release process from development, testing and production releases. Developed and implemented release process to standardize the development process.

Was responsible for five employees. Perform annual and mid-year performance reviews, salary increase recommendation, personal development plans. Provide training, guidance, assistance and knowledge transfer among team members.

Oracle Corporation, Portland, Oregon 1999 to 2001

Senior User Interface Programmer

Developed features for Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Console for the Oracle 9i release. (OEM Console is the graphical interface where one can schedule jobs, events, and monitor the Oracle database.) Developed the Oracle Message Broker (OMB) Java Graphical User Interface. GUI was developed with JFC, AWT, Swing, and JEWT (Oracles Swing Components).

MCI, Colorado Springs, Colorado 1997 to 1999

Programmer

Developed the Reporting System User Interface (RSUI). The RSUI is a Java applet front end to Oracle 8 database. Worked with the users of the system to create the initial prototype and to gather requirements.

ARINC, Inc. Colorado Springs, CO and Ogden, UT 1992 to 1997

Defense Contractor

Provided software analysis, design, development, and maintenance support to commercial satellite messaging and tracking system. Lead developer for the Milstar Word-of-the-Month (WOM) software tool in Visual C ++ and Microsoft Foundation Class 2.0. Developed the ARINC Veracious Differential Reference Station software (AVDRS), which used GPS data to land airplanes, in ANSI C. Developed the Air Force Space Command’s (AFSPC) Command, Control, Communication and Computer Automated Architecture (C4AA). Supported the Air Force Software Technology Support Center (STSC). Developed a statistical database model to rank the replaceable parts of F-16 fighter jets.

Statistician

Oversaw the Minuteman Stages I, II, and III Motor Aging and Surveillance data analysis for the Structural Design and Analysis Department. Wrote C programs to generate SAS code.
