Happy Thanksgiving

November 24th 2006 by Leisa in general

We spent Thanksgiving with the Mitchels again this year. They do the big traditional family dinner. Parents come to town. (Dogs instead of kids)

After dinner we played an 80’s version of Trivial Pursuit. Its scarey how what odd information is rattling around in our heads.

For the winning question, by Brennan & Sue, I had to prompt them with most of the lyrics. The question was what something about what song from the Musical Chess was popular as sung by Murray Head. This hint wasn’t enough:

The creme de la creme of the chess world in a
Show with everything but Yul Brynner

My favorite line is:

I’d let you watch, I would invite you
But the queens we use would not excite you

Paul’s is:

I get my kicks above the waistline, sunshine
