Death Running

August 23rd 2006 by Leisa in general

Hood to Coast is Friday. I’m not really feeling up to the challenge this year. I did find out today when to meet up with my team.

We got a letter from an inmate yesterday.  Paul handed the picture to me in a pretty dark room it was of 4 men in front of a antique car. The back said the man next to me is my 1st Cousin. Didn’t see the inmate stencil on the jeans.

Included was a flier for a race the inmate is organizing. I’m really impressed that anyone can run 20 miles in a small circle.

Death Run Three

October 1, 2006

Death run three will be unlike any other. This will be a true death run that will test the intestinal fortitude of even veteran runners.  The run will begin at 11:45 AM and end when the yar P.A. announces “turn in all recreation yard equipment”. “3:15″ As in death runs 1, and 2, participants will run in single file with each member leading for one mile, then rotating to the back of the line. The pace will be kept at between 9 and 10 minutes per mile.

This is not a race.

Once again, refreshments will be provided for all participants during and after the event. Please note, however that all participants must make their own funeral arrangements.

Good luck and remember”
