We had a really nice turn out this year and his majesty was well pleased. Someone asked me what Paul’s favorite flavor is thinking it was chocolate. I said Oatmeal. She said oatmeal wasn’t a flavor. I told her Paul doesn’t really like cake (which is true) he just likes the attention.
The person on the left in the photo album is Barry one of Portland’s homeless. He comes by the Shambhala Center at the tail end of practice sessions for tea and teasnacks. I’m not sure how he learned about Pauls party since I only mailed the Shambhala people the day before when I found out Paul hadn’t. Well, Barry apparently was on a schedule and insisted that we break out cake before we had finished our dinners.
