3rd Annual Beach Trip

April 30th – May 2nd marked the 3rd Annual Beach Weekend. This tradition was started by Tanja in 2002 who has moved back to Germany and is getting married this summer. The first two years we stayed at the same house in Manzinita. That house was not available for weekends that we were. Michael Wallish found a great house further north. Its hard to find a place that will allow 9-11 adults. There were some big advantages to going later in the year that include sunbathing!

We stayed a Bailey’s Beach House in Nedonna Beach, just south of Nehalem Bay. The House has 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, a loft and most importantly – a huge hot tub and wireless internet. It is a bit sad that out of the nine of us we had 4 laptops. My defense is that I had to be on-call that weekend. I did use the internet connection to find a recipe for short bread cookies.

The pictures in my photo album are stolen from Michael and Alex. For a complete photo documentation go to Micheal’s Website.
